Types Of Friends.

 

The Pessimist.

Most people avoid pessimists but I think they also help.Their negative comments and their attitude add to your troubles and boy oh boy they sure do get under your skin!If a girl gets pregnant and decides to open up to them.Well all hell breaks lose.They will start by asking you questions you definitely do not have answers for.Like,

What were you thinking?

Are you keeping the baby?

Do you know the father of the baby?

If you do which I doubt,is he ready to take responsibility?

How are you going to take care of the baby?

How will your parents react?

How will people perceive you?

They conclude by making a disturbing comment like,you are never going to make it.Now I think the above questions are sensible and they are facts the young pregnant girl will have to deal with.So the pessimist sometimes helps because you will come to terms with reality.He or she represents those who will smile at you and talk about your ‘situation’ behind your back.

The Optimist.

Now this is the friend you will need when you are in trouble.He or she is the type you would go to if you are pregnant or when you really need a shoulder to lean on and cry your heart.Reason being they will always tell you something that will lift you up or give you hope.They might read you a Bible verse,pray with you and for you.They will always check on you and help you both financially and emotionally.These ones help when you’ve lost all hope.

The goody two- shoes

Oh this one is a good one.She will never go out.She is uptight though deep inside she has an urge to get out there and let go.She always has an excuse.You ask her to go and the first question she asks is;What time will we be back?Where are you taking me?Will there be drinks?If so count me out.She is  shy and does her things calculatingly.Irresponsibility is a crime in her world.She sees far.She is ambitious,hardworking,friendly,focused and a Christian.

The Party Animal.

She is always up for anything.Partying all night,dancing,drinking and yapping about her life carelessly.She is wild.Yes she is fierce and all but she is also clever.She balances her academics and her social life.She reads,she is active in group discussions though she misses some lectures.

The play boy

He is definitely good looking and has a talent.He has a way with words.He is talented and smart.He utilizes his good looks and sweeps so many girls away.Any girl would want to be seen walking by his side.This play boy is not as lucky because there is this one girl he admires secretly,She doesn’t give him as much attention as the rest of the girls.She arouses his curiosity and intimidates him in a major way.This guy falls easily for Miss goody two-shoes but  goes out with the party animal .
